Thanks for looking at our blog – it’s a collection of case studies and references really. We’re a commercial studio that stems the length of the UK – we started up in Staffordshire – a place called Little Haywood, around 2006. We then moved the business to the Highlands of Scotland and took advantage of the property prices there and now have a fine old farmhouse in lots of land to run our Scotland studio from over looking the mountains around Loch Ness. Not to loose our links in the West Midlands, we moved our base to Cannock not far from Cannock Chase and it is here that we have again started to develop the studio.
The way we break up the UK is really simple – North and South Scotland from our Inverness studio as it’s ideal for access to the three main cities of Aberdeen, Glasgow and Edinburgh and then our Midlands base which we cover the shires around and of course down to London.
We are totally dedicated to commercial client work – no weddings and the only portraits we take are for commercial use. It’s an important thing really, as we feel our specialism brings a focus to our skills base – we are after all experts in expressing your business or product proposition visually. After all, why do you always ask you marketing agencies and designers have they worked B2B as opposed to B2C – or had experience specially in your market… that expert knowledge is vital. So why do you not take the same approach with your photography services… a picture speaks a thousand words!
Our core revenue streams in the studo are product, property (including architecture and interior design) general commercial and industrial images and food. This later one has been very successful for us UK wide. Yes, we freelance and do press work although this is admittedly as small side to our business – but due to the nature of what is involved it does keep our wits about us and smarten us up if we get too comfortable in out studio approach! Our clients range the full spectrum from business owners to media buyers, publishers to PR and marketing agencies.
